Train Like George Gankas

Modern golf training aids for athletic, repeatable ball-striking.

George Gankas is known for a modern, performance-first approach: build an athletic motion, train the key feels, then make it repeatable at speed. George Gankas Sports training aids are designed to give you clear constraints and instant feedback, so your practice becomes more deliberate and your swing changes stick faster.

If your swing breaks down under speed, you don’t need more theory. You need better constraints.

Gankas training aids are built to help you:

  • Improve sequencing and body motion (so you’re not “all arms”)
  • Build stable, repeatable positions through the swing
  • Create trainable feels you can reproduce under pressure

The Gear and what they train

GBox™ (Adult Set)

Train rotation, pressure and hip control with clear external feedback.

GBox is a belt-based training aid designed to attach at your seam line and create a physical reference for how you’re moving. The Adult GBox set includes:

  • A velcro belt
  • Two Large neoprene boxes (6" x 6" x 6")

Why it works: GBox helps organise lower-body movement and rotation, reinforcing a more athletic, controlled motion instead of sliding, stalling, or losing pressure.

Fit guide: Adult belt is designed to fit 28" to 52" around the waist (measure above your hip line).

Built-in training support: The GBox includes a QR code that provides access to drills/exercises and an option to join the VIP list.

GSlot™ (Shoulder + Forearm Rotation Training Aid)

Train forearm rotation and external shoulder rotation with instant feedback.

GSlot is designed to improve forearm rotation and external shoulder rotation. The system has two parts:

  • A form rotator (worn on the forearm)
  • The GSlot (positioned through the armpit)

During the drills, the device can make an audible “pop” when you move into flexion/extension, providing immediate feedback.

Designed outcomes (as claimed by the brand): improved shot stability, clubhead speed, and accuracy.

GSnap THX™ (Trail Hand)

Train trail-wrist biomechanics with positive reinforcement of the “snap”.

GSnap THX is designed to train the trail wrist through positive reinforcement of the “snap”. It’s an adjustable trail wrist training aid, designed as a complement to the original GSnap.

The device is designed to lead your trail wrist into “extension” on the downswing, which the brand claims squares the clubface, resulting in better contact and straighter golf shots.

Designed outcomes:

  • Leads the trail wrist into extension on the downswing
  • Helps square the clubface
  • Better contact
  • Straighter golf shots

GSnap™ (Lead Wrist) (Wrist Training Aid)

Train lead-wrist biomechanics with positive reinforcement of the “snap”.

The George Gankas Sports GSnap (Lead Wrist) trains lead wrist flexion to improve impact structure and compression. When the lead wrist extends or cups excessively, dynamic loft increases and strike quality becomes inconsistent. The GSnap reinforces a flexed lead wrist so the club delivers with better face control and stronger contact.

Sizing:

  • Standard: Fits wrist circumference 5.5" to 8.5"
  • XL: Fits wrist circumference 6" to 12.5"

FAQs

Who are these training aids for?

Golfers who want performance-focused practice: beginners building fundamentals, intermediate players chasing consistency, and serious golfers who want clearer feedback at speed.

What’s the difference between GBox and GSlot?

GBox is primarily a lower-body/rotation constraint that helps organise movement and pressure. GSlot targets forearm rotation and external shoulder rotation with instant feedback.

Do I need coaching to use GBox or GSlot?

You can use both solo, but you’ll get more value using structured drills and coached cues. The point is purposeful reps, not random swings.

Do these replace lessons?

No. They’re practice tools. Used well, they help you train the right feels between lessons and reinforce changes faster.
